Community Builder; What an Honor!

Being able to surprise the Master of Ceremonies is not an easy task, but the amazing ladies at Keep Indian River Beautiful were able to do just that during the 3rd Annual Environmental Awards held at the prestigious Oak Harbor Country Club. The afternoon was a terrific success with over 80 people in attendance from Community Builder; What an Honor!

1500 LBS OF FOOD DELIVERED!

When working families have hours reduced and the free meals children rely on during school aren’t available, the need for the local food banks to distribute food is a must. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and customers moving this summer food drive we raised 1,588 pounds which will provide 1,323 meal to our 1500 LBS OF FOOD DELIVERED!

Who know such subtle food and diet changes could add so much pep in my step? With that being said, the experts at Slim Body Laser Spa have taught be how to be really creative with dinner choices featuring more veggies and lean proteins. My new favorite veggie: bokchoy! Simply delicious with so many ways Green & Lean

Why I love Foxy Nails!

As a busy mother and working professional, I am constantly abusing my hands and nails. It seemed every time I painted my nails; they’d chip almost instantly thereafter. When Foxy Nails opened a little more than 3 years ago, my sister took me to visit them on their Grand Opening Weekend. At that time, I Why I love Foxy Nails!

Bloody Sunday; Yum!

Sunday Funday! Filthy’s Pubbery, located off 16th Street just east of U.S. Hwy. 1. For more than a year, this innovative establishment has been offering locals and visitors alike a creative Bloody Mary experience. Patrons are given a clipboard to mark down each of their many options, starting with drink size and preferred vodka. Filthy’s Bloody Sunday; Yum!

Great things in the horizon!

Indian River Medical Center, IRMC, will have their new 34,000 sq ft oncology building, the Scully-Welsh Center open by the end of 2015. This will offer all sorts of services to patients including support groups and programs to help with cost and navigate the healthcare system. Vero Beach Theatre Guild’s “Run For Your Wife” launches Sept. Great things in the horizon!
