* Dancing with the Martin Stars is one of Martin County’s premier community fundraising events over the past 15 years.
* The event brings together local business and community leaders who volunteer to learn and perform ballroom dance routines.
* Dancers spend months rehearsing, all while fundraising to support local families.
* This year’s dancers are Michelle Hance with Isabel Lowe, Laurie Laramie with Daniel Elhaddad, Brooke Lewis with Brian Spector, Kalista Kaplan with Antonio Torres, Dr. Michelle Massa with Chris Waterman, Zac Rockefeller with Emily Matos, Pete Lashenka with Marianella Tobar, and Michael Sihvola with Daisy Krakowiak-Wiebe.
* The event is September 26th at the Lyric Theatre. It will be an exciting evening of entertainment, community spirit, and philanthropy.
* Guests enjoy local celebrities dancing, audience participation with a People’s Choice award, and a silent auction.

* Martin County Healthy Start Coalition has been serving local families for more than 30 years with a vision that:
* Every baby is born healthy.
* Every mother is supported.
* Every father is involved.
* We provide services at little or no cost to families, including:
* Home visiting for pregnant women and new parents.
* Childbirth education.
* Breastfeeding and lactation support.
* Doula services.
* Fatherhood programming.
* Nurse-Family Partnership.
* Care coordination and referrals.
* Diaper assistance.
* Infant loss and bereavement support.
* Work to improve birth outcomes, reduce infant mortality, and give every child the healthiest possible start in life.
* The Treasure Coast Maternity Center was created to expand access to maternity care in our region.
* Our MOM Mobile brings prenatal care directly into neighborhoods, helping remove transportation and access barriers.
* Following the closure of local labor and delivery services in April 2025, many families now face longer travel times and additional barriers to care.
* We are building toward a future freestanding birth center that will keep maternity care close to home for Martin County families.
* The maternity center will redefine maternity care by providing:
* Patient-centered prenatal care.
* Midwifery services.
* Education throughout pregnancy.
* Family-centered support before and after birth.
