Traveling Through Florida

Satchels Pizza in Gainesville

Satchels Pizza in Gainesville

My family and I took a 10 day trip to four different state parks this past June. Wow! Florida is so diverse in it’s landscape and climate; people too.

Our adventures started in Chiefland at Manatee Springs. From there we went to O’Leno and did a day trip to Ichetucknee.  Once we left there and stopped at Satchel’s Pizza in Gainesville, we went to Anastasia State Park outside St. Augestine before visiting Flagler Beach for lunch and ending our trip in Blue Springs State Park.  On our way home we toured downtown Deland; so cute and what a great time we had.

Looking for a great way to spend time with the family, especially if you have kids, where you can explore and have fun without breaking the bank. Camping is it. Though when using a nice 33′ ft. rv some might cal it “glamping.” Either way, it was eye opening to see the types of commerce and communities Florida offers. The best part, all those great laughs with the ones we love the most.

Happy summer friends!
